Services During Covid-19

Our shop may be closed but we are working as normal!

We’re here to serve our customers in any way we can. We’re hoping to be able to reopen our shop as soon as government guidelines indicate that it is safe to do so. In the mean time, we are adapting our business and operating in a different way while taking into account extra precautions and safety guidelines.

We have taken this time to really work on our online presence, building our new website and selling online for the first time ever. We’re continuing to add products to our site every day but it is a slow process (especially doing it from home and not in the shop!) and we have so much more to offer than what you see here.

At Tector Menswear, we have always been a local, family run business and have always taken pride in offering a personal service to our valued customers – nothing has changed! We’ve put together a few ideas of how we can continue to offer our service but if you need any more information or want to ask us any questions then please get in touch at any time:

Know exactly what item/brand/product you want?

DM us on Instagram or Facebook or email tector@tectormenswear.com with what you are looking for. We’ll be able to tell you if we have it and if so we can post it out to you or drop it to your house within a 5km radius of our shop in Rathmines.

If you know what type of product you want but don’t have something specific in mind

Email or DM us with what you are looking for e.g casual shoes and your size and we can send you pictures and prices for everything we have available for you to choose from. We can then post them to you, or deliver personally within a 5km radius. If you are in a 5km radius we can also bring a selection to you to choose from/try on in person before making your decision. We will be adhering to strict social distancing guidelines and will wait outside while you browse/try on the items. 

Want to browse? We know you don’t always know what you want until you see it! If you want to treat yourself or maybe spend a voucher you have already purchased we can organise that.

Email us or call Richard on 0863271535 and we can organise a virtual visit to our shop via Whatsapp video call, Zoom or Skype. We can walk you around the shop and show you anything that is of interest. Or if you’d prefer, if you let us know your various sizings and any preferences we can pick a collection of our favourite things to show you via video or send you pictures of. There is no obligation to buy if you don’t see anything suitable. If you're within 5km of Rathmines, we can bring a selection to your house to try before you buy.

Wedding coming up?

If you need to get your wedding suit sorted while the Covid-19 restrictions are still in place we can help you with that. With the news of the easings of restrictions, we are hopeful that weddings can start to resume in the coming months. If you need to get a suit sorted or even if you just need shoes/shirts/ties/pocket squares we can absolutely help you out. These are just some ideas we have but we are happy to work however we can (while adhering to the government guidelines) so please get in touch and we can discuss the best options for you.
